SPECULATIVE

Envisioning the 21st Century New Town, Prague

By extending the infrastructural, psychogeographic and topological framework of Prague's 14th century New Town, a contemporary urban strategy can be constructed, within the parameters of underdeveloped 19th century brownfields, towards an organically integrated urban field - which is grounded upon ideological and morphological foundations that have been historically

determined and adapted with a 21st century configuration of socially and locally specific cultural nodes - in order to enable the emergence, from within the existing city, of a meaningful polycentric structure and an expanded historical core.
